3yo Breeders’ Cup Medium
Outgunned behind Berlin last Saturday in the heat, Captain’s Squeeza looks to build further on her good form. The high quality Antares three year old Berlin showed up well in his prep last time, and looks perfectly placed to go all the way on Saturday. It makes from an interesting race, which will likely be fought out all the way down to the wire.

Pre-race comments from:
Polenov – “My horse is unstyled and unexperienced, so I would be happy if it will not finish last.
GM – Riddley – “Berlin has a good chance if track goes to dead. 1800 is a tester for three year olds – and I am lousy at medium training – Captain’s Squeeza the one to beat and may run over the top of mine – hoping… have no idea what race instructions to give.”
St Simon Racing – “If the weather stays slow I have a good chance, if it turns to dead as the forecast shows, then the favorite must be Berlin.”
Lucky Star – “My filly whilst not having the class of some of the other runners, is fit and well and should improve with last weeks run (which she needs to do). Wet track suits, more rain would be a bonus. Extra distance may help as well. Hardest to beat Ridley’s colt and Avits filly. Hoping for a top 4 finish.”
avitblues – “My thoughts are, I think the distance will stretch my filly to its limit, its never raced over this far, it has bags of speed but will the stamina last?. On paper Berlin will take a lot of beating as it stands at the moment.”
