Let’s Talk Turkey
With nine capable milers going head to head over the 1800m, the scene is set for Pugstable’s Cold Turkey to record the stables second world cup. Nyquist has the services of Rochelle Peques for trainer DR Stables. He is well exposed, and put up a career best effort in the heat over 1600m last Saturday. This top class trainer knows what is needed for a mudlark to win over good ground. Modern Times has had five modest runs to date, the trainer won’t have brought the filly here just for the scenery, and she is another bound to be better than what she has shown so far. Shine Taffy Dancer ran a good second behind Nyquist.
Colt Off Shore, The Walking Dead and Surprise cannot be discounted at best, although they were well beaten last time. Gathering Storm won a good race on Sunday, more to do here.
