Relaunch bounces back with a vengeance and win the Lowe Cup

Poetry in motion was a phrase I heard someone say yesterday, when 5yo Triple Crown Champion Relaunch ran away from the field winning his 7th world cup title in a time of 2:05.432 (60.27km/h) and giving his owner Angel’s Fight his 34th world cup win. This was Relaunch first race back since losing and picking up an injury in the Cox Plate.

Shadow Warrior stunned a strong field of 12 runners to capture his first world cup victory in a time of 1:48.387 (59.79km/h).  A brilliant run by his jockey Wayne Kinker giving owner RCS Locos his 6th world cup victory.

A wire to wire victory by Blue Cretheus and owner Captaincrusoe in the Up & Coming Sprintstar

Once he shot out of the gate it was no looking back for the 6yo early sprint bay stallion Blue Cretheus, winning his 2nd world cup of his racing career. A nice strong competitive field Blue Cretheus won in a time of 1:09.237 (62.39km/h) and owner Captaincrusoe winning his 7th world cup because he also won the Appy Chappy a little later on that day with Blue Agrius.

Another dominating performance by Triple Crown Champion Kingsman

The Movember Cup was a race to remember with owner Manor Parks Kingsman dominating a small field of 6 runners. The win gave Kingsman his 9th world cup win in world record time of 1:44.799 (61.83km/h) and giving his owner Manor Park count them 94 world cup titles. The 100th world cup win mark is in great reach and this will be another major plateau for the legendary trainer.

Bob Sticky, a maiden upset a field of 7 in the Diamond Cup

Was this really an upset? or did people just not pay attention?

Bob Sticky came into the race only having 3 starts in his career and no victories. But the 4yo stayer had one thing that the other runners in the field did not have and that was a 16xp in the epic distance. Bob Sticky got and early lead and held on for dear life and stole the race get his first win and first world cup victory and also giving his stable Swindin his 3rd world cup.

The winning time on a fast track was 2:24.772 (60.25km/h).

Allwrong Bowler capture his 2nd world cup winning the Aussie Down Under Sprint

The Aussie Down Under Sprint seen 5yo champion Allwrong Bowler capture his 2nd world cup and owner alexander out of  ghanainternational stables his 12th world cup, in a record time for 5yo’s over a fast track in 1:08.527 (63.04km/h). The sprinter has a nice future ahead of him with more cup possibly in the near future.

The amazing Secret Pact is one victory away from winning the Triple Crown

Secret Pact the champion runner out of Dixon Racing just got one step closer in cementing his name in the history books by winning the Aussie Down Under Short leaving her with one more race to complete to hoist up the Triple Crown. The 6yo competitive bay mare held off a late rally by runner up Lisco Kid with both runners setting world record times in 1:20.473
and  1:20.500 (62.61km/h) prospectively. The third leg to take home the crown for Secret Pact will be the Crystal Cup, @ River Nile Delta Racecourse in Africa week 11/12.

Gray Dog Stables capture its 1st world cup trophy with Cutlass Supreme blowing past the Australian Cup contenders

The 4yo stalker Cutlass Supreme ran the perfect race winning the 11th Annual running of the Australian Cup for 4yo age group milers. The win gave Gray Dog Stables owner Graydog his first world cup victory beating some formidable opponents on a fast track.

It was a great day at the races for 5yo chestnut stallion Gunsynd and his owner trouble racing stable sks023 winning the Aussie Down Under Long, giving the fast finisher his first world cup win and his owner his 4th, over 1850m on a fast track.

Secret Phantom the 6yo roan stallion out of Dixon Racing Stables win the Platinum Plate running away in the 2,050m in world record time on a good track in 1:58.993 (62.02km/h). The win give owner pedantic32 his 6th world cup victory and Secret Phantom 2nd.

90th World Cup win for Manor Park Stud

Manor Park Stud captured his 90th world cup triumph winning the So You Think Cup with 3yo colt Patrobasgiving him his 2nd world cup in his you campaign. Patrobas, won in a world record winning time on a good track over 2,050m in 2:02.290 (60.35km/h) giving owner Manor Park his first So You Think Cup.

Jessica Rabbit is crowned as the new princess

A small but competitive field of six strong lady sprinters faced off in the Princess Tiarato only find themselves chasing after a rabbit, and that rabbit was 9yo mare Jessica Rabbit out of Magoo Fine Equine Stables. The race was ran over a slow track in a sizzling world record time over 900m in 0:51.518 (62.89km/h) giving owner Magoo his 9th world cup trophy, and Jessica Rabbit her crown.

The Riddle of the Sphinx is discovered in the American Cup

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is American Cup best of them all?

The answer was revealed, in a hotly contested battle with 10yo Sphinx, the bay stallion out of Riddley Walker Racin, setting a 4th world track record in a cup race this weekend, winning the 1,450m American Cup on a slow track in  1:22.799 (63.04km/h). Sphinx wins his 2nd world cup of his racing career and gave owner GM-Riddley his 34 world cup. Sphinx  beat and amazing field of champion runners, Seething RainHilikus CoopMorpheusYabooty Highlight, and Live And Let Die.

Breeders Cup Championship weekend recap

The Breeders Cup Championship Finals was this weekend and we seen some familiar faces in the winner circle and a few surprises. In the 2yo Sprint Breeder Cup FinalAngel From Hell ridden by Dominque Donlin for (DR Stables) took home the trophy winning, but owner Inca57 also captured the 3yo Short Breeder Cup Final with Type Darkest Arial ridden by Vinita Heuer giving Inca57 his 21st and 22nd world cup victory an a unprecedented 14th Breeders Cup.

In the 2yo Long Breeder Cup Final we saw another legend back in the winner circle (Seahorse Racing) owner Tomac winning with Algetyea ridden by Roselle Samaroo, giving him world cup victory 27.

Chantilly ridden by Jacqui Bellantone, (Fernbank Park) captured the The 4yo Sprint Breeder Cup Final giving owner Henrygom his 1st world cup, the first one is always memorable.

The 3yo Middle Breeder Cup Final, produced Ajax ridden by Jeannetta Brockus, (captaincrusoe) his 2nd world cup of the season giving owner captaincrusoe his 5th.

Twinkie WazUp ridden by Amparo Bram, (NZ Thorobreds) won the 4yo Long Breeder Cup Final in sort a surprise giving NZ Thorobreds his 1st world cup victory.

The Breeders Mile Final, seen a dominate victory by Tessa Al ridden by Leo Kroell, (Dopey Donkeys Digs). world cup number 19 for owner Noddy.

Last but not least Woot Woot ridden by Jerold Tear, (Moonlight Stables) took home the 5yo+ Epic Breeder Cup Final giving owner HorsePrincess her 2nd career world cup dance.

Another mudlark come roaring home on a good track to win the Lowe Guineas

For the second week in a row we saw another mudlark 4yo Kingston Eclipse, win the Lowe Guineas on a good track. The roan stallion out of Angel’s Flight stables won in a time of 1:49.145, giving his owner Angel world cup win number 30. This season will go down in Track King history where you had two mudlarks win world cups on grounds that’s not so favorable to there style.

Dante’s Wawa, beats a strong field of long runners

Dante’s Wawa, a 5yo stalker out of rafindale stable showed his dominance against a strong field of long runners in the Lowe CupDante’s Wawa, was able to get a little redemption for losing last season to world cup champion Steele Starz in the 4yo Breeders Cup Long. The race was ran in a time of 2:05.559 over 2,100 meters.

The 6yo Secret Pact, bay mare out of Dixon Racing, destroyed a field of 11 runners in the Up&Coming Sprintstar from the beginning when the gates opened up. The competitive mare will be a force to be reckon with in the coming weeks and will be looking to take the next step on her journey toward the Triple Crown. 

Another Movember to remember

World cup champion Morris Minor, out of Sootie stable shows once again she is a true champion in the medium distance. The 6yo bay mare captured her 4th world cup beating her rivals in the Movember Crown in a time of 1:46.108 and giving her owner world cup number 17.

An upset victory in the Epsom Derby Stakes

Pirate Prince shocks a field of 9 runners in the Epsom Derby Stakes. The 3yo chestnut colt out of Pomerania stables galloped home in 2:31.819 giving his stable there first world cup victory. A stable on the scene less than 2 years beat a group of strong veterans at the odds of 28 to 1. Owner Hotaru have to be on cloud nine with huge victory in today’s race.

Triple Crown winner Relaunch holds on to win the Diamond Cup

Track Kings first Triple Crown champion 4yo Relaunch fought off a late rally by archrival Addie Over Magoo, to win the 14th running of the Diamond Cup. The grey stallion out of Angel’s Flight stable is the first age group epic/long grand slam winner, winning his 6th world cup title and his 9th race in a row. Owner Angel captured his 2nd world cup of the day and his first Diamond Cup giving him a total of 31 world cup wins.

Bahamas sprints home to victory in the Ascot Vale Cup

Bahamas, the 3yo black competitive colt out of Riddley Walkin Racin stable capture his 2nd world cup winning the Ascot Vale Cup on a dead track in a time of 1:12.515. The victory also gave his owner GM Riddley his 33rd world cup win in the cup standings.

Captain Morgan catch a breeze and sail on to win the Amethyst Trophy without water

Captain Morgan, a 4yo chestnut mudlark stallion upset a field of 11 runners in the sprint cup final on a good track “repeat” not slow, but good. The 4yo mudlark stunned the field in 1:11.674 with jockey Valentin Angeline on board just beating out odds on favorite and world cup champion Not Too SoonCaptain Morgan out of Dr Stables, give his owner Inca57 his 20th world cup victory.

3yo Achilles romped home to win the 30th running of the Spring Guineas. The chestnut colt hailed out of captaincrusoe barn won the 1600m on a dead track in 1:39.153 giving his owner his 4th world cup win.

Mr Squiggle at 35 to 1 odds upset a field of 6 runners and beating the odds on favorite Hilikus Coop  in the Princes Pennant. The 9yo bay stallion out of YellonkY and ridden by Tricia Vagnier captured his first cup win and giving his owner his 11th world cup triumph.

Road to the Triple Crown kicked off this weekend

 The Triple Crown Series kicked off this weekend with the Ascot Vale Cup, and the Amethyst Trophy. In the Ascot Heats on Saturday we watched Idiot Of Glory, take the first heat and Dodge and Swerve, took home the second heat. The finals should be on a dead track next Saturday. 

With a wet slow track on Saturday at the Rock, Swick Sardeans, and Secret Aurora, splashes home to take there respective heat races. The weather is starting to clear up and the forecast calls for clear skies and good track next Saturday.

Triple Crown Champion Relaunch making his 4 year old debut

No rest for the weary, the five time world cup and 3 year old Triple Crown winner will be making his 4 year old debut in the Diamond Cup, this coming weekend. The cup will be held at River Nile Delta Racecourse in Africa over a long and epic distance.

The Princes Pennant and Paupers Kettle finals

 Several more world cups will be at stake this coming weekend with the Princes Pennant a short affair this season running at Sydney Harbour Racecourse in Australiaand the Paupers Kettleboth medium finals with one running at Rocky Mountain Ridge Racecourse in America, and Ardennes Hills Racecourse in Europe.
