Lozzy Stables – “Red Sky At Dusk has a high rating but has been a very frustrating mare, constantly falling well short at the top level and with a string of seconds in league races and local cups. Her racing style and dependency on good ground make her very difficult to win with and although she has ran much better last two starts for a new jockey it will be a surprise if she can involved. The Sussex Stakes is her final hurrah and she will be knocked up straight after the race.“

Addictive Racing – “What a horse AO Captain has been, 6 time cup winner and already a Sussex winner, one of the best iv have trained. This will be his final race to end a tremendous career. Hopefully he can go out on top but it will be a tight race and Manors Western Rintin will be tough to beat.”
Tersk Stud Farm – “I want to test my horse and this is a big challenge. I think Wester Rintin or Addie Over Captain will win.”
Burgersfortheboyz – “The Lawmaker needs to find the front to trigger the breakaway ability so this will determine how well he goes. Manor Parks mare has the rails and will be very hard to hold out.”
Manor Park Stud – “Wester is still a work in progress, hoping training to be complete in the next 4-5 weeks. Few things are far from ideal coming into the race so am hoping for a close top 3 finish. Horse to beat looks to be crows runner who’s a former winner of this race followed by Tersks entry which has an xp advantage over all of us. Some other nice looking horses contesting the race so am looking forward to it. Good luck!”
