The Lowe Guineas – 22nd April 2017

Lowe Guineas

Race field

Trainer ghanainternational is a man on a mission, and he has two in the race. The Australian-bred Jaguar looks like the best of the two and she steps out here with a good draw, distance suited, fit and ready. The daughter of world record holder Secret Phantom, is a versatile sort who can adapt to the conditions – whatever the surface or pace may throw at her. The stables second runner Jesse is a top runner and she looks the part. Brought along slowly, she is drawn right alongside Jaguar and has also enjoyed a royal prep. Do not leave her out of any permutations.

Top jock Adena Quinnie goes for his second world cup and picked the runner from the New Scotland Yard in the race. The beautiful Absolute Zero could show the world how good she really is. The daughter of Bang On, Dressage Nate’s has run some good races in the slop, and she must go into the calculations.

Breeders Cup winner Kozma catches the eye, he is a top-class sort who stays well and he looks to have peaked at the right time. I and I is from the trouble racing yard and this smart daughter of Blonde On Blonde ran decent races in the Australian Spring Guineas and the Breeders Cup for 3yo’s. Another bold effort is expected.

The Confessor is an unexposed sort, but don’t be fooled by his ratings. He could be a nice trifecta dividend booster if he runs into the money. Tonal Aglea stayed on without threatening last time and looks held again. Stryker Essen is a progressive looking miler in the making, and she could improve further after an excellent heat run.
