Horse of the season –
Champagne Wishes – Champagne Wishes won the prestigious Trackking Masters, the Melbourne Cup and a Classic Cup in the final season of an illustrious career.
Secret Phantom – Phantom won arguably the most competitive cup final of the season in a world record time to claim the GnuMad.
Kingsman – The former triple crown winner added a Magic Mile, Breeders Mile and the Sussex Stakes to his growing list of achievements.
Sam Lynns Peppa – Possibly the greatest local cup winner of all time added 3 more local cups during season 38.
Stable of the Season –
Reds Breeding Stud – Red continued to pick up momentum since his return with wins in the 4yo Breeders Long, So You Think, Cox Plate and Fast and Furious.
Dixon Racing – Pedantic had a bumper season. He beat some top stables at Leeds Scenic by a strong 37 points to win his league and added the GnuMad, American Cup, Lancelot World Memorial and Grand Prix Stakes to his trophy cabinet.
Manor Park Stud – Manor Park’s Kingsman continued to dominate the medium distance races, picking up a Breeders Mile, a Magic Mile and the Sussex Stakes. He also added a Sprinters Shield, Lowe Guineas and the Champagne Stakes to his haul.
Bodrumluck – Possibly the most improved stable in the game. Bodrum won the Epona, Crystal Cup, Up & Coming Sprintstar and the Magic Mile.
St Simon Racing – Captaincrusoe brought his cup total to an impressive 17 with wins in the Jewel Of The Mile, Platinum Plate, Epsom Derby and Sires Produce as well as a Sprinters Shield and Magic Mile double.
Angels Flight – Angel hit the magic 50 mark this season thanks to some fantastic wins in the Emerald Shoe, Great Sphinx, Australian Cup and Amethyst Trophy. Angel’s star performer Relaunch also added a Classic Cup to the total.
Woodchuckers – Woody runs possibly more horses a season than anybody in the game and does so with amazing consistency and season 38 was no different. He also won the Aussie Clothing Epic, Paupers Kettle and the 5yo+ Epic Breeders Cup.
Stable to Watch –
Chaotic Neutral – The winner of the competitive Lowe C3 league, Chaotic also added a local cup to his trophy cabinet.
Diamond k – Diamond took home the Gran C3 League title along with the C3 Classic and the Bluebird’s Flight.
Force – Winner of the C3 Classic cup in Sydney, Force ran some very respectable places in World Cups this season.
Pops Stud – Winner of the Leeds C4 League, Pops is an energetic and competitive stable – just a matter of time.
Priceless Speedsters – After bursting onto the scene last year, won the Best Pull Ever, C4 Classic and C4 League in Wichita.
2yo of the Season –
Captains Quest – Quest won the stacked Sires Produce Stakes with a clever run.
Wrecking Ball – Wrecking Ball pipped Village Idiot to win the 2yo Breeders Cup Sprint and then ran a solid third in the Golden Slipper.
Secret Emperor – The seasons top rated foal won the Grand Prix Stakes from a very wide gate, beating out some top competition.
Seaside Scandal – Seaside Scandal won the 2yo Breeders Long in a classy field in a photo finish.
Bigger Rolly – Bigger Rolly won the Champagne Stakes in impeccable fashion.
3yo of the season –
Captains Secret – Captains Secret ran a great race to bring home the the Epsom Derby with very little xp.
Creme Fraiche – Creme Fraiche won Angel his 7th Great Sphinx title.
Jaguar – Jaguar followed up his 2yo success with a win in the Australian Spring Guineas.
Our Buckwheat – Buckwheat triumphed in the Grand Prix de Paris by a margin of 2+ seconds.
Reds Stormborn – Stormborn won the So You Think Cup by 3+ seconds.
4yo of the season –
Admiration – Admiration beat a field that included Manor Park, St Simon and Ersins to lift the Australian Cup.
Captains Flicka – Flicka beat Admiration, Wester Rintin and Bad To The Bone to take home the Jewel of the Mile.
New Terrain – New Terrain is building quite a cup collection and he added to it again in his 4yo season by winning the Diamond Cup.
Red’s Haku – Haku won both long cups of the season, taking down the 4yo Breeders cup and the Cox Plate against formidable opposition.
Solid As A Rock – Solid As A Rock lived up to his name and brought home the Amethyst Trophy.
Wester Rintin – Wester Rintin beat a strong field to take home the Lowe Cup.
5yo of the Season –
Bone Crusher – Bone’s Crusher beat a solid field to win the Aussie Clothing Down Under Sprint
Bounty Hunter – Angel’s charge added to his Sphinx cup with an Emerald Shoe victory.
Havana Starz – Woody’s Havana Starz won the Aussie Clothing Epic in impressive fashion.
Lump of Ice – Lump of Ice won the Pegasus Plate in a photo finish.
Salamandar Spurs – Salamandar Spurs won the Aussie Clothing Down Under Long.
6yo of the Season –
Addie Over Captain – Addie Over Captain ran well to win the Movember Crown.
Blitzman – Blitzman beat Addie Over Captain on way to winning the Golden Fleece.
Bright Blessed Day – Bright Blessed Day is a 6yo and still managed to run 2nd in a stacked GnuMad
Naksup Alien – Naksup Alien won both the Up & Coming Sprintstar and the Crystal Cup.
Poseidon – Poseidon continued his impressive career with another dominant victory in the Platinum Plate.
Secret Agenda – Secret Agenda won the inaugural Lancelot World Memorial with little to no prep time.
7yo of the Season –
Ajax – Ajax won a magic mile as a 7yo and in impressive fashion.
Execution Hanover – Execution Hanover ran 2nd place in the Sussex Stakes.
German Protocol – German Protocol won her second Paupers Kettle.
Idea Cafe Stink – Ghana’s horse was very competitive in a tough C1 league.
Patrobas – Patrobas ran 3rd in the GnuMad.
Shadow Warrior – Warrior proved to be very dominant in a very strong Osaka c1 through out season 38.
8yo of the Season –
Apollo Kingz – Apollo ran 10 races during season 38 and some impressive times and wins whilst doing it.
Captain Morgan – Captain Morgan also had a busy season accumulating a lot of winnings.
Relaunch – Tk’s current superstar ran an impressively to take down a classic cup over epics and then ran a solid race in a top quality field in the GnuMad.
Sos Venezuela – Venezuela had a very strong league season and then ran a fantastic 2nd in the Fast and Furious.
Spirited Away – Spirited Away was unbeatable in league and also ran an unlucky 2nd in the Sprinters Shield.
9yo of the Season –
Allwrong Bowler – Bowler won a hotly contested Sprinters Shield.
Betty Boop – Boop ran impressive times all season long in league racing.
Fall Line – The former 10 million purchase dominated a very strong Lowe’s sprint races during season 38.
Kingsman – Kingsman continued to dominate in medium races adding a Magic Mile, Breeders Mile and the Sussex Stakes to his already massive cabinet.
Steele Starz – Steele won the Epic Breeders cup with very little xp.
10yo of the Season –
Camilla – Scotland Yards epic monster had a flawless season adding a Tk Open and a Classic Cup to their trophy wall.
Champagne Wishes – Wishes had a bumper season by winning a Classic Cup, the prestigious Tk Masters and completed a fabulous season with a victory in the Melbourne Cup.
I’ve Soiled Myself – Soiled Myself won both a Sprinters Shield and the Fast and Furious.
Secret Pact – Secret Pact added a second consecutive American Cup to her already bulging cabinet to end an illustrious career as top earning horse of her generation.
Secret Phantom – Phantom finished his career in style by winning possibly the most stacked race of the season and doing so in a world record time.
