Secret Legacy won his maiden at the first time of asking and he was rather impressive to say the least. He looks the likely favorite for the race and is my firm first choice. Red’s Haku has the ability and all the credentials to suggest that she can run a good race. Bang Chitti Bang was bought recently by top stable ghanainternational, he had a easy heat run, and is one that has to be given serious consideration for the win position.
Espadon has solid form and was narrowly beaten last time, he has tons of scope to improve – include in all bets. Sort Of Square ran a cracker with the apprentice up last Saturday. He was rewarded with a pro-license, and another top run is expected from this pairing. Sexy Kodak Stay won his heat on Sunday in good style, the only worry is her level of fitness on race day. Bold Pilot has shown some fair form and could feature in this company.
Roke’s Wise has a big weight from a wide draw but can improve on his last effort. Grand Slam has some excellent form, and at best will go close.
Emelda Goettig rides Anti Angelo for Raspadora Lodge. Performance of last weekend must go to this pairing. Imagine what this stable can do with a horse on equal terms rating wise. He gets thrown in the deeper waters here again but has a strong jockey to guide him. Duelin Hayless jumps from a wide draw but seems progressive.
