Missed Opportunities
Bristol Turks bids to win the 4 year old Sprint Breeder Cup for the second time at Mediterranean Coastal Racecourse on Saturday and Ride The Lightning is one of the likely favorites. Bone’s Crusher is another progressive sort in this field. She is likely to start improving now. Beka Cooper was far from disgraced last time in the Amethyst Cup when finishing just in front of Ride The Lightning in third. She will enjoy the step back up to this trip.
Avalanche, Kanawa Bandido and Hit-Girl are the dark horses in the race, they all have plenty of ability.

10. Boba Cowboy |

Born:Fri 1st Apr 2016, bred by junior’s farms
Lineage:By Zipzag out of Twister Tackle
Recent form:9,5,5,3,4
|
Trainer comments: – “My thoughts on Boba Cowboy….well, Boba was home bred sired by Zipzag, a Breakaway, and foaled by Twister Tackle, a mudlark. The sire was 15.0 hands and I believe the mare was 16, so naturally I got an 18 hand FF. He was around 35 OR when vig/vig after birth. So in his efforts to catch up, he has been mediocre at best to date, and I expect at best a middle of the pack result, especially with track conditions changing. Weather should improve mudlark’s chances in the final. I believe it was Bones horse that looks pretty good right now. If Boba Cowboy runs last,I might rename him Bobo Cowboy.”
