Comments from the stable: “In fact no preparation prior to the cup race. Enter just to support the cup and for fun. Training track in the early days really help the horse. Race strategy was to conserve energy for the last quarter and hopefully an extra boost being a mud-lark on a slow track. Also a calm jockey maintaining a favorable distance against the leader(wants to place well) help when making ground in the final stage.”
