Welcome one and all to the 30th running of the 3yo breeders for medium runners .
Dont blink punters, you may miss one of the most dynamic breeders races of the season.
Who can win this premier season 3yo breeders mile? Lets look at who’s been invited to the party .
Here punters is a rundown of the best chances:
The field seems to have it all – The Woogle Wood filly aiming to be the belle of the ball and wear the crown for season 36.
Blackjack Farms’ Royal Flush may well have the best hand and scoop the pool and add to the stable’s silverware.
Pugstable enters a well bred colt, who is Brazen enough to pick this 3yo that showed so much as a 2yo?
RCS Locos has been in hot form, winning a world cup just a few weeks ago and he could Blitz the field again.
What that I see, Cleopatra is running can she cast a spell on the boys and come out on top, or will Moilet’s Vipers add some bite and slither past all comers?
Oh no it cant be Blackberry Farm, looks like he is running a real devil – can his colt fire up and put the heat on Angel Flight who been on top of his game ,can anyone overcome some Bozo or will we see some Clown have the last laugh?
In a nutshell there is so much to like and see I Love It!

---|---|---|
Alvin Crackers says: | – Yet another contender and recent cup winner of the spring guineas and cruised to a nice 2nd in last week heats surely makes this colt in a hot field the one to beat. |

Form: 5,6,3,2,4 |
Last race: | Breeders 3yo Middle (1650m) at Great Himalayan on 07-May-16 06:15 (1:41.996) | |
---|---|---|
Alvin Crackers says: | – Woogie Wood been a busy boy off the track and now can focus on Belle Epoque who certainly has ability and like woogie’s last project she was in need of a renovation. Been up and down but with some spit and polish this talented trainer may have a winner on his hands. |
3. Doodee Rolly |
3yo filly from Rawhide, Career earnings: $710,600 Overall rating: Satisfactory(49) – Early sprinter |
Form: 1,5,2,6,4 |
Last race: | Breeders 3yo Middle (1650m) at Great Himalayan on 07-May-16 06:00 (1:40.978) | |
---|---|---|
Alvin Crackers says: | – Doodee Rolly nice filly yet to push the big boys in a final but shown a bit in the heats with natural improvement could step up and have a good result. |
4. Vipers |
3yo filly from JamesBrown, Career earnings: $84,000 Overall rating: Satisfactory(47) – Fast finisher |
Form: 14,8,1 |
Last race: | Breeders 3yo Middle (1600m) at Great Himalayan on 08-May-16 05:45 (1:38.983) | |
---|---|---|
Alvin Crackers says: | – Sparingly raced filly jumped out of the box to win a heat last week and caught many by surprise .Can Vipers repeat and slide to the lead late and score a win? Time will tell. |
5. Royal Flush |
3yo colt from Blackjack Farms, Career earnings: $502,800 Overall rating: Reasonable(52) – Fast finisher |
Form: 1,1,1 |
Last race: | Breeders 3yo Middle (1650m) at Great Himalayan on 07-May-16 06:00 (1:40.463) | |
---|---|---|
Alvin Crackers says: | – Unbeaten colt has been nothing but impressive and looks the testing material if track conditions hold. Can roll to the lead late and overcome what is a very good field. |
6. Brazen Beau |
3yo colt from Pugstable, Career earnings: $913,950 Overall rating: Satisfactory(47) – Competitive |
Form: 2,2,1,13,5 |
Last race: | Breeders 3yo Middle (1650m) at Great Himalayan on 07-May-16 06:00 (1:41.311) | |
---|---|---|
Alvin Crackers says: | – Pugstable must be a bit frustrated after the early promise, Brazen Beau been sadly down on form but at his best could really trouble any in the final, just a case of the planets align and the go button pressed at the right time. |
7. Blitzman |
3yo colt from RCS Locos, Career earnings: $611,250 Overall rating: Reasonable(50) – Competitive |
Form: 6,10,4,5,1 |

---|---|---|
Alvin Crackers says: | – In form stable knows how to win and here we are come cup time and yet another runner finds form at the right time. This time Blitzman, can he win again after showing little before the heat, a win quite possible don’ t you think? |
8. I Love It |
3yo filly from Raspadora Lodge, Career earnings: $318,975 Overall rating: Acceptable(41) – Competitive |
Form: 4,12,4,9 |
Last race: | Breeders 3yo Middle (1650m) at Great Himalayan on 07-May-16 06:00 (1:42.379) | |
---|---|---|
Alvin Crackers says: | – Rasp one of the biggest spenders in the game, sorry other way round! Last time rasp spent money, Moses was a boy.
This champion player on and off track puts out I Love It who gives up rating, but if anyone can get a result from such a horse rasp is the man. |
9. Satan’s Spawn |
3yo colt from Blackberry Farms, Career earnings: $272,400 Overall rating: Satisfactory(49) – Natural champion |
Form: 3,2 |
Last race: | Breeders 3yo Middle (1650m) at Great Himalayan on 07-May-16 06:15 (1:41.584) | |
---|---|---|
Alvin Crackers says: | – Blackberry sends out Satan Spawn, very lightly raced and placed both starts. He’s shown enough to say this colt is on the up. Satan’s heat run showed this Natural Champion can grind out a nice result, so if any fail to run the race out, Satan’s Spawn will be right there to pounce. |
10. Sub Hidden Poka |
3yo colt from Orange Hills, Career earnings: $204,928 Overall rating: Satisfactory(47) |
Form: 2,7,1,6,3 |
Last race: | Breeders 3yo Middle (1650m) at Great Himalayan on 07-May-16 06:00 (1:40.833) | |
---|---|---|
Alvin Crackers says: | – Orange Hills sends out a colt with 8 starts under the belt and the one win. Last week a nice 3rd behind Royal Flush and Bozo The Clown says Sub Hidden Poka has some ability and will be around the mark. |
11. Cleopatra |
3yo filly from MolietsSurfer, Career earnings: $96,500 Overall rating: Satisfactory(48) – Needs space |
Form: 6,14,5,7,3 |
Last race: | Breeders 3yo Middle (1650m) at Great Himalayan on 07-May-16 06:15 (1:41.917) | |
---|---|---|
Alvin Crackers says: | – Cleopatra is really well bred by Moilets but to date Cleopatra has failed to produce enough on the track to know how far she might go.
A glimpse at last week’s heat may show she turned the corner and we would like to see more – maybe in the final we will. |
12. Chelan Up Up |
3yo colt from Wild Hawk Racing, Career earnings: $162,000 Overall rating: Acceptable(44) – Early sprinter |
Form: 12,10,8 |
Last race: | Breeders 3yo Middle (1650m) at Great Himalayan on 07-May-16 06:00 (1:42.238) | |
---|---|---|
Alvin Crackers says: | – Credit to the trainer for running. No better way to improve than test your horses against the best .On face value little hope but no player can expect to progress watching – hopefully we see a good run from Chetan Up Up . |
