Overall rating: Excellent(63) – Early sprinter

Comment: One of the early sprinters in the race Addie Over Doneill out of Crowsrock Stable has been trying to find her niche. Finishing 3rd in last weekend heat race, the 5yo mare will have to contend with other for the lead and try not to burn herself out among the early fast pace setters.

Comment: Dixon Racing has been setting the world cup circuit on fire here of late, showing other owners he has arrive and will be someone to deal with in the seasons to come. Now enter his 5yo bay mare Secret Infraction who finish 2nd to Dirty Leonardo in this seasons Amethyst Trophy. Jockey Pierre Strydom gets the call this time around.

3. Seek And Destroy

5yo stallion from Bristol Turks, Career earnings: $2,243,557
Overall rating: Excellent(64) – Stalker

Comment: Seek And Destroy a 2 time world cup champion out of Bristol Turks barn has not showed his flash of brilliance that he has shown in the past. Owner GM-Ersins would like to have the stalker laying back in the middle of the pack and have him rolling past the pace setter at the wire.

4. Dante’s Alben

5yo stallion from rafindale, Career earnings: $1,311,780
Overall rating: Grand(65) – Stalker

Comment: The sponsor and owner of rafindale a 14 time world cup winner enters the track with lightly race 5yo bay stallion Dante’s Alben. Another stalker who won his heat race last weekend will be looking to improve off that win. Not racing to much in his career make him sort of a mystery horse.

5. Blue Cretheus

5yo stallion from captaincrusoe, Career earnings: $2,229,275
Overall rating: Grand(67) – Early sprinter

Comment: Blue Cretheus a 5yo bay stallion out of captaincrusoe had an impressive heat race last weekend running the 3rd best world record time in 1:08.992 (62.62km/h) over 1,200m. Another run like that or better, and his owner might be hoisting up another world cup.

6. Nihilator

5yo stallion from Happy Skipper Stable, Career earnings: $2,145,001
Overall rating: Grand(65) – Fast finisher

Comment: The first of two entries from Happy Skipper Stable, Nihilator will be seeking to annihilate this field if he gets the opportunity. The fast finisher has been running more consistent here of late and will be looking for a super fast pace to charge after.

7. American Pharoah

5yo mare from Happy Skipper Stable, Career earnings: $1,580,740
Overall rating: Grand(65) – Competitive

Comment: The second of the dynamic duo Happy Skipper Stable, American Pharoah, named after the famous 2015 Triple Crown Winner, make this stablemate combo a dangerous 1, 2, punch and giving the owner HappySkipper a great opportunity to bring home a cup.

8. Just A Dream

5yo mare from Allison Racing, Career earnings: $948,700
Overall rating: Grand(68) – Fast finisher

Comment: Allison Racing bring to the track 5yo bay mare Just A Dream. Another fast finisher that ran 2nd in her heat race and has been running very well of late. The big 19.2 hand gal has a powerful kick, and with a clear path you may see her gobbling up the track at the wire.

9. Falselycrownedking

5yo stallion from Team Monkfish, Career earnings: $388,751
Overall rating: Grand(67) – Competitive

Comment: Team Monkfish stables enters the track with 5yo bay stallion Falselycrownedking. The competitive runner has never won a race out of 7 starts and seem to not found his comfort zone. This would be a remarkable feat if somehow his owner can get him to beat this field.

10. Bjarnafoss

5yo mare from Double U Stables, Career earnings: $1,655,499
Overall rating: Grand(69) – Breakaway

Comment: Coming into the race as one of the highest rated horse in the field at an overall (69) rating. Bjarnafoss out of Double U Stables is a breakaway runner that has shown flashes of peaking at the right time. 2nd in her heat, she seem to be rounding into shape at the right time.

11. Jacqueline

5yo mare from Spanish Main, Career earnings: $436,000
Overall rating: Grand(69) – Competitive

Comment: Jacqueline a 5yo bay mare from Spanish Main barn, also come into this sprint race with an overall (69) rating. She just won her heat and beat out Bjarnafoss with a nice time. Coming out of post 11 this race she will need to place herself quite nicely in order to be in position to strike.

12. Songline

5yo stallion from trouble racing, Career earnings: $717,888
Overall rating: Excellent(64) – Early sprinter

Comment: Songline a 5yo bay stallion out of trouble racing, is one of the early sprinters of the race that will be battling to set the pace. With a lot of good early sprinters in the field, the only question would be will he be able to be withstand the fast pace to finish in the money.

13. Allwrong Bowler

5yo stallion from ghanainternational, Career earnings: $2,309,493
Overall rating: Excellent(67) – Competitive

The 5yo competitive stallion has been showing how good he can be of late and his owner alexander is an 11 time world cup winner and would love to make it number 12.

14. Nanonoko

5yo mare from New Scotland Yard, Career earnings: $636,931
Overall rating: Excellent(68) – Early sprinter

Comment: Nanonoko a 5yo mare early sprinter was recently purchased in early February 2016 by 14 world cup champion stable New Scotland Yard for over $6 million dollars. With only 6 starts in her career, 5 of them was victories and one 4th place finish in last weekend heat. This horse can be very dangerous in the hands of a winning stable like New Scotland Yard.

15. Temple Of Zoom

5yo stallion from White Star, Career earnings: $642,700
Overall rating: Excellent(65) – Early sprinter

Comment: White Star stables enter the track with 5yo stallion Temple Of Zoom. A maiden that seems to be struggling to find his running legs. Going up against this field will be a daunting task to ask from this early sprinter who never finish better then 2nd in a race.

16. Dirty Leonardo

5yo stallion from Ezulwini, Career earnings: $2,628,651
Overall rating: Excellent(60) – Competitive

Comment: Dirty Leonardo a 5yo stallion out of Ezulwini stable won the Amethyst Trophy last season and finish second in the 4yo Breeders Cup Finals. But the last few races has been a little off course for this champion horse and stable and owner Dolfie will be looking to recapture some of those past winning ways.
