TOP CONTENDERS
Bahamas, out of world cup champion Riddley Walker Racin barn won last season 2yo Golden Slipper. Owner GM Riddley seem to have taken it a bit easy early in the short sprint, but was able to finished 8th in the heat to qualify for the finals. Look for this horse to bounce back and be right in the thick of things at the wire.
Dodge and Swerve, a 3yo mudlark colt out of 16 world cup champion Sootie, stable has been very consistent in his first 4 starts never finishing worst then 2nd place in his short career. Winning last weekend heat, owner Gavstar seem to have this young colt clicking on all cylinders and ready for prime time.
Idiot Of Glory, seem to have found a winning formula in his past couple of races, one being last weekend heat race. Dark Times stable owner Wrasler, is long overdue in trying to capture his second world cup. Could this 3yo chestnut colt be the one who finally answer the call for his owner?
Satisfaction, would love to bring his owner GM Ersins out of Bristol Turks, some satisfaction. The 3yo bay colt just might be peeking at the right time finishing 2nd in last week heat race. BT stable is always dangerous in these situations and if one overlook, might be prime for the taking.
Type Darkest Arial, Dante’s Anger, and Addie Over Greater, all hail from world champion owners who must be respected and not overlooked and can be very dangerous if any one of the top four horses decide they don’t want to show up.
Then you have the rest of the field if one win, it will yield some nice odds.
