Comments from the stable: – “Was a surprise result, the decision to enter the Melbourne Cup was only made last minute and it was very much a secondary target to the TK open. I wasn’t sure that Camilla could make back to back epic cup finals but thought I’d remove training altogether and give it a shot. Thankfully it turned out positively. I knew Lunastarz would be the challenge and we’ve always competed well against that horse in the past but with 1000m to go I didn’t think it was going to be our day. Thankfully I was wrong. A great result that sets up a strong final season for Camilla next season.”
