“Atoms, Molecules or Ions”
All solid materials that forms a crystal. But looking at today’s field it look just as solid, this will be the 6th running of this prestigious cup. and the competition looks mighty fierce. The track look like it will stay true to form and remain dead and if so, the playing field will be leveled off just a little bit. You have the two stalker’s in Seek And Destroy, and No More Cash, that would like to sit in the middle of the pack and come flying home down the stretch. You got the two breakaway’s in Baxter’s Sicili, and Tropical Ice, looking to be very close to the lead and use there style to kick home around the far turn. We have two competitive’s horses in Great-Da Tsu’ Tey, and Rose Sundaro, looking for a challenge during the course of the race. Then you have the two mudlark’s, who will be looking for the ground to be more on the slow side to get some mud splashed into there opponents face.
Should be a great one no matter what the outcome will be, but expect all the stables to have there game faces on, on Saturday.
Good Luck to all entries!

1. Seek And Destroy |
6yo stallion from Bristol Turks, Career earnings: $2,958,557 Overall rating: Grand(67) – Stalker |
Stable comments: – “Seek & Destroy has been inconsistent recently. I’ve also struggled in getting him into crowded fields so not been able to get the best out of him his last few races. That said, he can produce some explosive speeds in the final quarter so he should be in with a shout for a top 5 finish. I fancy Rhed’s Tropical Ice for this one though, looks to be in good shape.”
2. No More Cash |
6yo stallion from Lost In The Fog, Career earnings: $1,284,226 Overall rating: Tremendous(72) – Stalker |
Stable comments: – “No More Cash is a capable runner. If I get the instructions correct, he could win. The odd weather forecast may have more of an impact than it should, previously listed dry days have switched to rain over the last 3 days. The weatherperson may be due a good beating?”
3. Baxter’s Sicili |
6yo stallion from Dawg’s Ranch, Career earnings: $1,430,835 Overall rating: Grand(67) – Breakaway |
Stable comments: – “If track degrades to slow than no doubt Gs Arena with AI/Imposing as Race/Track Distance experience is the winner if not than bad luck for him. I have said earlier any horse can win here with a right RI (same for my mules hehe)”
4. Tropical Ice |
6yo stallion from Desert Wind Stables, Career earnings: $1,427,351 Overall rating: Tremendous(70) – Breakaway |
Stable comments: – “I have a horrible suspicion, from both the heat outcome and previous cup races, that I may have made a misjudgement in training Tropical Ice for shorts rather than sprints. Hoping that the fact it is 1299 may be an advantage but Tropical Ice has yet to show much in the way of star qualities.
5. Great-Da Tsu’ Tey |
6yo stallion from Greatest Stable Ever, Career earnings: $447,500 Overall rating: Tremendous(71) – Competitive |
Stable comments: – “
6. Rose Sundaro |
6yo mare from Northdown House, Career earnings: $2,123,383 Overall rating: Grand(69) – Competitive |
Stable comments: – “
7. Shot Burrito |
6yo stallion from Dawg’s Ranch, Career earnings: $1,834,836 Overall rating: Grand(69) – Mud-lark |
Stable comments: – “
8. Gs Arena |
6yo stallion from BODRUMLUCK, Career earnings: $2,776,665 Overall rating: Grand(69) – Mud-lark |
Stable comments: – “Gs Arena came out of the qualifier in fine condition and awaiting for the weather change to effect the going for the day. If it is slow he will be a force to beat. Dead going will be a bit difficult to handle as he is drawn 8 so I would be reluctant to be confident of a victory. My favourites would be Seek And Destroy and No More Cash.”
9. Temple Of Zoom |
6yo stallion from White Star, Career earnings: $1,488,012 Overall rating: Grand(67) – Early sprinter |
Stable comments: – “Have been working hard with Temple of Zoom and he is starting to find some form. Am looking for an improved performance this Saturday. If he can get a good start he will be in for a big chance at winning but will need a big ride by the jockey to for this to happen. The Crystal Cup is a very competitive race with see Seek and Destroy, Tropical Ice and No More Cash as the ones to beat.”
10. Marcie Staying |
6yo mare from Three Legged Mule, Career earnings: $1,078,760 Overall rating: Excellent(60) – Fast finisher |
Stable comments: – “Wellllll considering I qualified by fluke alone, I’m running strictly for the experience, lol. If by some miracle I manage to place….”
11. Rockets’ |
6yo stallion from Untouchables, Career earnings: $225,750 Overall rating: Reasonable(51) |
Stable comments: – “
