Pre-race comments from:

trouble racing – “I think it will be no secret who wins this one. My runner was a bit disappointing in his heat so will be happy if we manage to finish in the money.”

Desert Wind Stables – “Oh…do I really have to…its the same old story…likely to place…will nearly definitely be beaten by a better horse, probably with ‘secret’ in its name!”

Dixon Racing– “Secret Sentinel seems like another one of those “bridesmaid” horses – loves to run 2nd – I’m hoping he can go one better in this race but will not be easy with Big Poppa and Noble Egyptian looking like the ones to beat.”

YellonkY – “I’m happy with a semifinal performance, and would be happy to see him in top 3 again. “

Priceless Speedsters – “We are ready for this race and on paper Big Poppa Pump is top 3. However I usually muck up the RI’s but if all comes together we will have a powerful kick in the 4th quarter. Good luck all. No Whammy’s No Whammy’s No Whammy’s.”

Raspadora Lodge – “An intriguing race. Expect it to be a showdown between Secret Sentinel and Big Poppa Pump, the distance between them at the start of the final quarter being vital to both of their chances. The ‘unpredictable’ Noble Egyptian is a possibility to rain on that parade if his trait is in a positive mood!
My filly is out of her depth here, but will be happy if she can finish the race solidly.”
