Winner: – Angel’s Flight – “Kumbaya ran a great race today against a quality field and I couldn’t ask for anything more. He improved off his last race and hopefully can continue to grow in the seasons ahead.

Others: – Riffendal Stable – “Great to finish in the money in a such a big race, in the end America Dona didn’t have the stamina to the finish the race out but ran well nonetheless despite not having the best jockey on board. Hopefully she will do better next year. Congrats to the winning the stable, Kumbaya was just too good for the rest in the end.”

Others: – St Simon Racing – “First of all, well done to my good friend Angel’s Flight, showing us how it should be done. Tactically, the perfect race. My runner had no excuses on the day and was beating by the better horse.”

Others: – woodchuckers – “Ran a solid race without doing enough to score a top 3 but she plugged away.”

Others: – Dotties Stables – “I am very pleased with a good run in a competitive race.”

Winner: – Dopey Donkeys Digs – “Three races and three wins for Beowulf in the Sires Produce series. Couldn’t be happier with that – and hoping the dominance will continue when she starts running on her preferred wet tracks.”

Others: – Angel’s Flight “Shout out and congratulation to Noddy and Beowulf on and impressive Sires sweep. She is one scary filly dominating her opponents at the moment, just to good for the rest of the field eating her dust.”

Others: – Force – “I thought Wild Jet might have had a chance after a good start, but BeoWulf was way too good in the end. Conrgatulations to Dopey Donkey Digs for the win and a well trained horse.”

Others: – Priceless Speedsters – “Totally surprised by the finish but always good to be top 3, congratulations DDD well done.”

Post race comments from:

Winner: – Dixon Racing – “The Slipper panned out pretty much how I expected – some unlucky runners and some who ran out of their skin on the day. Brainteaser did his job quietly and efficiently and we’re looking forward to further improvement in the Ascot Vale in a few weeks time.”

Others: – Winning Post Farm “Double Down has run a great race in 4th and stamina was the issue as he was right in the mix until fading late. We have very little time to improve things before his 3yo campaign but well done to Secret Brainteaser for the victory. Black Sin’s eye catching run in second must have been a joy for her trainer and Mumsam Bonzo will only get better because to run third on her debut was a great effort. I’m pleased to finish best of the homebreds and, looking forward, I’ll use my other 2yo colt for the regionals and hope to bring Double Down back for a rematch with some of these guys in the Ascot Vale Cup.”

Post race comments from:

Winner: – Angel’s Flight – “Highly Arrogant came into the race pumped today and she ran pretty much to perfection in the strategy that was laid out for the race. Was able to out kick the Fast Finishers down the stretch and looking forward to locking horns against this group of fine runners in a few weeks in the Australian Spring Guineas Series.

Others: – Makers Mark SIV “Was very happy with the way my mare ran today. Just to many Fast Finishers to keep them all down. I thought she might have a chance coming down the stretch but got out kicked. My stable learned a lot and made a little money in the process.”

Others: – Desert Wind Stables – “No real surprise. Might have hoped for a little more if I’d had picked a more experienced jockey but also came out of the race with a slight injury.”

Others: – Ezulwini – “Thanks. It was a very encouraging run from Moondream. He had the strongest finish in the field, which is very promising. His start was however unfortunately hamstrung by the wide gate position, which is my own fault for not getting him into one of the qualifying races.”

Post race comments:

Winner: – Dixon Racing – “Pierre timed the race to perfection! Cracking runs from BBK and Relaunch flying up late to make it interesting. I feel Ilustrador needs a short spell to recharge his batteries for a big 10yo season.”

Others: – Angel’s Flight – “Congratulations to a World Class Stable and Horse in Dixon Racing and Secret Ilustrador. What can I say Relaunch and Big Bad Kamikaze pushed him as far as he can go. One last hurrah for the old boy and off to the Hall of Fame he goes after the GnuMAD. Very proud of his performance today!”

Others: – woodchuckers – “Very pleased with Karaka run was carrying IP and yet put up a good show will be in for a breather until league kicks off and recovers but the winner way too good Pedantic just dominating fields at the moment well done to the champ.”

Others: – light weight – “What can I say what a race final in the track king final a top quality field of champion horses not much separating the Top 5 runners in the end congratulations to the winner just too good on the day and a deserved winner a great run I was pleased to finish in the top5 probably the best result ever for my stable. Hopefully there’s still a big cup win for my horse before he retires congratulations to all the place getters in the race it was an awesome race well done to all involved.”

Others: – Burgersfortheboyz – “The Kamikaze ran on for a game 2nd and a placing in our first attempt at a TKO Final. The winner Secret Illustrador has a big heart and hung on for a deserved victory.”

Post race comments from:

Winner: – Dixon Racing – “As expected the muddie fillies went down to the wire. This time however, the result was in our favour – this win rounds off a very successful weekend for the stable. Congrats to Inca on Willo’s brilliant challenge in this race”

Others: – DR Stables – “Willo Blitz ran a decent race but came up a little short. Should have gone harder earlier. Congrats to Pedantic32 and Secret Dynasty on a great race.”

Others: – Force – “As expected it was about who was going to win between Secret Dynasty and Willo Blitz. Congratulations to Pedantic on the win. Wild Princess couldn’t do any better than third.”

Others: – BODRUMLUCK – “Bad draw and wrong RI was the downfall of Denan. Willo Blitz gave a good fight but Secret Dynasty was always going to win and did. Congrats to Craig. Hope to meet another day:) “

Others: – Speed Breed – “Gabriel Mollyman did as good as could be expected, and nearly finished in the top 3 but finished in 4th by a nose. Overall, the stable is happy with the result and glad she came out of the race in good shape as well.”
